My science writing has appeared online at Slate and Bitesize Bio, and is forthcoming in the third edition of Howard Frumkin’s Environmental Health: From Global to Local. My science fiction writing has appeared in Analog and Crossed Genres under my married name, Megan Chaudhuri. In 2015 I was awarded the AAAS Mass Media Science and Engineering Fellowship.
I am currently finishing my Ph.D. in Toxicology at the University of Washington. Before starting grad school in 2010, I worked for four years with labs researching malaria vaccines and wound infections. In 2006 I graduated magna cum laude and with distinction from Ohio State University, where I earned a B.S. in Biochemistry.
Outside of writing and research, I love to read, jog, play board games, and cook Chinese, Thai, and Indian foods.
